For the extra scratch, you'll receive a car in either Velocity Yellow or Black and adorned with special C6.R-esque livery including a center stripe, "Jake" graphics, a list of the C6.R's championships, driver names and flags, chrome wheels, a body-color Corvette ZR1 rear lip-spoiler and more. Under the hood, the engine will be dressed up with a carbon-patterned engine cover with yellow Corvette lettering, while the interior will be wrapped in black leather with yellow stitching and GT1 embroidery on the seats, dash and center armrest. A windshield banner is included but not installed. Coupe and Convertible cars also pick up the Z51 Performance Package and NPP Performance Exhaust options. A six-speed, paddle-shifted, automatic transmission is optional on the coupe and convertible, while a targa roof is optional only on the coupe. A navigation system is optional on all models.
Each car produced will also get a special VIN sequence to denote its rarity. Yellow cars will feature the 300001 sequence in honor of the #3 C6.R racecar while black cars will feature the 400001 sequence in honor of the #4 C6.R racecar. The real C6.R racecars are celebrating eight ALMS GT1 Manufacturer's Championships, five GT1 victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and over 70 ALMS victories. The cars will close out their careers this summer at the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans, after which new GT2-class cars will take over starting at the Mid-Ohio race in August.
